Hype Energy is one of the main sponsors for this years Formula One™ programme at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hype has earned the most valuable and prestigious mark for brand placement on a Formula One car, the front-facing rear wing. The Hype Energy logo will be on Sahara Force India’s VJM09 front and inside rear wing plates; in addition to the drivers’ suits, team kit and carbon fibre water bottles.
Vijay Mallya, Team Principal and Managing Director: “On paper Bahrain should be a strong track for us so I’m optimistic we can deliver a similar level of performance to that which we showed in Melbourne.”
Nico Hülkenberg, Formula One Driver: “Next up is Bahrain, which is a special place. It's a track that rewards attacking, so hopefully we will see lots of action in the race. And of course, it's a night race so the atmosphere of the whole event is very different!”
Sergio Pérez, Formula One Driver: “The racing is never boring in Bahrain so fans should enjoy some good entertainment. The team is doing a great job back at the factory and we should have some interesting new bits on the car, too, so I am feeling confident.”
In 2016 Hype Energy is more attractive and recognisable in comparison to other energy drinks. The all new design range, which are now tied together with a black panel and matt black lid, are distinct, modern and very flashy. Some people may call the curved design ‘racing stripes’, which gives the products a fluid finish, in addition to linking the design back to the passion Hype has for motorsports.
Fans of the sport can look forward to a busy activation programme from Hype, ranging from social media competitions, to consumer events. This also includes the expansion of the #MFPClub, at key races on the 2016 calendar.
